I was carried by a mother, who felt ambivalent about me - third child conceived within three years.
The mother's thoughts about them while in the womb influence the child. Each one of us was once a foetus swimming in the soup of human emotions. That's how we spell the word in kings and queens english - foetus -becos of course it feels a bit of an antipathetic relationship at times. We seem foes.
At first the mother's body tries to get rid of the foetus - hence morning sickness.
The baby lives in a soup of emotions, feeling the mother's emotions without buying into them.
Humans love a time of trouble - it creates the emotional soup we are familiar with from our mothers womb.
Emotions are a physiological response, a neuropeptide flow lasting 90 seconds within the system. A physiological response requires agonist and receptor.
When we love, or accept and try to love, the physiological response is a story of peace and balance between receptor and agonist. When we despise, fear, deny, refuse to accept let alone love, compassionise or comprehend - then it is a battle between receptor and agonist .
Each person we know is one of our thoughts.
I dont say someone's entire existence is one of my thoughts. but their entire existence for me is one of my thoughts which sometimes turns up in the flesh.
We are all a thought.
Our time from conception - just conceived, to today - not yet dead is our moment; this moment, NOW.
In this moment in time we face the end of our species but know that the love we make now and the joy we experience are also part of humankinds' brief history.
Earth time can be represented by the eiffel tower,300m high, dinosaurs' time is about 100 metres, humankinds' time is so far the thickness of the paint.
We face our death. The life of human kind is reflected in the life of the individual. All our efforts create the sum total of humanity however soon our death arrives.
Before creatures became aware of their death , death came without creating anxiety more than a temporary shudder, NOW was where creation lived. Humans "ate the apple" became aware of" good and evil" or life and death.
While we have life we have a chance to be aware. Awareness is all.
This is humankinds story. We can transform it.
